The Tu-Be 1 pendant light was designed by Ron Arad for Ingo Maurer GmbH. 35 Aluminum tubes hang suspended from a metal mesh that floats in mid air held by thin cables. Blue and white LEDs reflect off the tubes surfaces and create a magical, indirect light 2 halogen bulbs are the direct source of light in the pendant lamp. "It's the fascination of banal things, ordinary objects you see and use everyday, so well known you don't even notice them anymore. Their transformation takes them out of their context, evoking illusions, exploring their possibilities as light reflectors. This is the leitmotiv of TU-BE.", says Ingo Maurer.
